City of Oakland Partners with Nextdoor to Make Their City an Even Better Place to Call Home

Today is an exciting day for the Nextdoor team – we are proud to announce that we are teaming up with the City of Oakland to help make Oakland a stronger and safer city. Oakland Mayor Jean Quan and Oakland Police Chief Sean Whent joined Nextdoor Co-Founder and CEO, Nirav Tolia, to announce the news.

This partnership is especially meaningful because several Nextdoor employees live in Oakland, and more than a dozen came out to show their support at today’s press conference.
