Welcoming Paco Viñoly to the Neighborhood

Nextdoor is now being used by more than 35% of neighborhoods across the country. As more neighbors adopt Nextdoor to help strengthen their communities, we are always looking for new ways to improve and expand the Nextdoor member experience. This starts with finding talented people who share our mission to bring back a sense of community to neighborhoods everywhere.

Today we are thrilled to share that Paco Viñoly has joined Nextdoor as our first Vice President of Design.

Paco is a seasoned professional with uncompromising standards and an eye for clean design and great user experience. He joins us from Square, where he led the Brand Design team. Prior to Square, Paco served as Creative Director for Bank of America and CNET Networks and led User Experience for the Yahoo! Media Group.

Paco’s background has established him as one of the most sought-after designers in our industry. We are excited to bring his talent to Nextdoor because our members deserve the absolute best user experience, and we believe that Paco will take the user experience to a new level.

I’m especially excited to have Paco join the team because he is someone who shares our passion for bridging online and offline communications in a neighborhood to improve peoples’ lives. At Nextdoor, Paco will oversee design at every touchpoint – from the product, to the member experience, to the brand. I look forward to seeing how he can help elevate everything we do at Nextdoor.
