Today, our Senior City Strategist, Joseph Porcelli, traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina to join Raleigh Police Chief Cassandra Deck-Brown in announcing our partnership with the Raleigh Police Department!

Nextdoor is already well-adopted across Raleigh, with more than 331 neighborhoods using the service to communicate about the things that matter most in their neighborhoods. This partnership opens a new communication channel and enables the Raleigh Police Department to work together with residents to increase safety and strengthen virtual neighborhood watch.

We were honored to have several local Raleigh Nextdoor members show their support at the press conference, which was hosted in Fred Fletcher Park in front of the beautiful Borden Building. Directly following the formal remarks, more than 50 Community Resource Officers from the Raleigh Police Department were trained to use Nextdoor.

We are proud to partner with pioneers like Chief Deck-Brown who are dedicated to finding innovative solutions to make their cities stronger and safer.

You can join or start your Nextdoor website here.
