This is what I believe should happen:: Since the software company “goofed” and did not provide correct counting of all the Votes the software company should pay to have an Ice Cream Truck go to each finalist location. I do not believe it right to ask people vote by leaving comments when they have previously voted. Companies should be accountable for their own errors !!!

Hi, I agree that something should be given to all finalists if the votes and the software company are corrupt. I’ve already asked family and friends to vote and if their vote didn’t count I won’t be bothering them again to leave a comment. It’s unfortunate that a fun contest has turned into a headache. Yeah, it’s easy enough for someone to vote but to leave a comment may be asking a bit much from people especially if it’s someone I don’t know very well. I don’t want to keep pestering friends and family. Not sure what should be done with the contest, but I think the poll software company definitely needs to be held accountable.

Thanks for the update and information.
I appreciate you reaching out about new ways to “vote”, but I will leave participants to continue contributing as they are meant to do so as per original instructions. Otherwise it is *I* who will be come a real headache for many in our neighborhood (and elsewhere) after insisting to submit votes. Thankfully, despite the bugs in the voting system that we *all* may have experienced, by the time the voting was supposed to end we were still leading (and continue to lead at this hour… :-).
Thanks for the fun so far! I know the kids in our neighborhood would enjoy the ice cream from the truck! 🙂 Our family moved in recently to the neighborhood and I am actually quite surprised about how many young families we have in Village Green. You’re welcome to visit anytime!

All Finalists were notified and rewarded $200 toward a ice cream social because the voting system used was broke and did not calculate accurate results.
