Get Out the Vote: Introducing the Nextdoor Vote Map

Written by ndmulti

We believe that communities are stronger when neighbors are civically engaged, and we want to encourage neighbors everywhere to participate in the upcoming local elections.

Starting today, you can use the Nextdoor Vote Map to share whether or not you plan to vote or have already voted by placing an icon on the your home on the neighborhood map. This is a great way to share your commitment to participating in this year’s local elections and encourage others to get out and vote.

Neighbors can also use the Vote Map to get access to helpful voter resources, like early voting information. If your neighborhood has a polling location, you’ll find it marked on your neighborhood’s Vote Map with a ballot box icon. If you’re registered to vote at a different address, you’ll be guided through the steps to find your local polling place.

Happy voting!
