The Treat Map is Back!

Written by ndmulti

Brought back by popular demand, our Treat Map is here to ensure you have the sweetest and spookiest Halloween yet!

Every year, we launch the Treat Map to give Nextdoor members an insider’s guide to the best streets for treats – and this year is no exception.

We’re taking the trick out of Halloween, as Nextdoor’s Treat Map allows neighbors to mark their home with a candy corn icon to let neighbors know they’ll be giving out candy. The Treat Map also lets neighbors plot haunted houses on the map, making trick-or-treaters everywhere know which houses to stop by for a spook-filled thrill!

Parents and neighbors can also use the Treat Map to know where trick-or-treaters will be throughout the night, whether on their computer or on-the-go with Nextdoor for iPhone and Android.

To use the Treat Map, follow these simple steps:

  1. If you’re already a Nextdoor member, simply sign into your account. If you are not yet a member, you can sign up and verify your address to ensure you don’t miss out on the fun: nextdoor.com/treat.
  2. Once signed in, visit your neighborhood map. You will be given the choice to add a candy corn or haunted house on top of your home. If you live in or plan to visit a multi-tenant building, just click on the parcel to see the details of who will be participating in that building.
  3. Encourage your neighbors and friends to place the appropriate icon on the map so you’ll know exactly who is handing out candy or hosting a haunted house.

From all of us at Nextdoor, we wish you a treat-filled Halloween!
