I am thrilled to welcome Heidi Andersen as our Head of Revenue, where she will oversee Nextdoor’s global sales team and revenue streams.
Heidi is joining us from LinkedIn where she was Vice President of Global Sales. As we build a scalable and sustainable business model, we need a leader who has defined and operationalized a global strategy and built a global team from the ground up. Heidi has done just that, building the Global Online Sales Organization under LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions division, starting in North America, then Europe, then Asia. She founded the business unit 9 years ago and grew it to over $1b in revenue, always keeping customer success and experience front and center. Prior to LinkedIn, Heidi worked in Google’s AdWords Sales group and helped build Google’s Display Ads Business.
Heidi’s passion to democratize access to opportunity for people and businesses made her an ideal fit for Nextdoor. She understands our unique ability to give national brands a local voice, and our ability to give businesses of all sizes access to their best customers– their neighbors. Heidi also cares deeply about community, equality in the workplace, and creating a culture where people who have families can succeed.
Heidi grew up in Denmark, and now resides in Northern California.
Please join me in giving Heidi a warm welcome to the neighborhood!
Thanks and Welcome Heidi Anderson!
Welcome Heidi,
Best wishes for success at Next Door growing marketing tool for building and helping to connect communities. As a member and a former National Ad Sales Executive in the publishing and digital media business it is great to know there are new local ad revenue vehicles that are affordable for local businesses and non profit enterprises.
Welcome Heidi!

Welcome Heidi!
Welcome Heidi! Wishing you success in your new position!
Idea: Allow property owners access to the neighborhood(s) that they own property in.
Why does Nextdoor feel they need a login process as good as most banks? The two-step process is time consuming. That would be OK in the selling area but why just for reading and posting messages?
