Nextdoor is thrilled to welcome back Kelsey Grady as Head of Global Communications and the newest Leadership team member for the essential neighborhood network.
With over two decades of professional communications experience, Kelsey’s journey with Nextdoor began right when Nextdoor launched back in 2011. Her leadership, expertise, and deep understanding of the product, coupled with diverse, audience-growth centric communications tactics, played a pivotal role in increasing new neighbor acquisitions, catalyzing brand awareness worldwide, and crystallizing the company’s mission, vision, and values amongst core audiences in Nextdoor’s early years.
After leaving Nextdoor, Kelsey founded a successful communications consultancy. The firm allowed her to leverage her communications, public relations, and marketing expertise across various technology companies, early-stage startups, and venture firms, providing invaluable experience and insights that will serve Nextdoor well as she returns.
As Head of Global Communications, Kelsey will oversee all communications initiatives, including corporate, consumer, product, internal, and more. She leads with a staunch commitment to fostering inclusive communities that all can rely on, a value that aligns with Nextdoor’s mission. Her transparent and direct style of communication, aided by her extensive knowledge of media relations, internal communications, product communications, and owned content strategies, will usher in a new chapter of growth for the essential neighborhood network that serves 11 countries and 335,000 neighborhoods, with over 90M neighbors.
