Self-Serve Advertising Is Now Live for Canadian Businesses on Nextdoor
When we launched Nextdoor Ads Manager in Canada, businesses responded quickly. Thousands of advertisers signed on across home services, health and wellness, and real estate. A growing share came back to run multiple campaigns. Adoption spread coast to coast, with the strongest traction in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta.
Today, we're opening it up further.
Self-serve is now live for Canadian advertisers on Nextdoor Ads Manager. Any business in Canada — a local tradesperson, a national brand, or anything in between — can independently build, manage, and optimize hyperlocal campaigns targeting Canadian neighborhoods, without going through a managed services team.
The platform gives advertisers hyperlocal targeting based on precise location, demographics, and interests, along with custom audience tools to retarget past customers or find new ones, AI-assisted ad creation, performance tracking via the Nextdoor pixel, and custom reporting dashboards. Agencies can manage multiple accounts and invite collaborators directly through the platform.
The audience is worth knowing. 74% of Canadian Nextdoor users are homeowners. 50% have household incomes above $80K CAD. About 1 in 3 households in the Greater Toronto Area are active on the platform. These are verified neighbors with real purchasing power, and they're already turning to Nextdoor for trusted local recommendations every day.
"Canada represents a highly engaged and rapidly growing community on Nextdoor, where neighbors are actively turning to one another for trusted recommendations and local information every day," said Anthony Di Muccio, Vice President of North America Sales. "By introducing self-serve access to Nextdoor Ads Manager, we're making it even easier for businesses of all sizes to tap into these authentic neighborhood connections and drive real results at both a local and national level."
