Nextdoor’s Love Your Neighborhood photography competition is back

Written by Team Nextdoor

Show us what you love about your neighborhood for a chance to win a prize!

Nextdoor is kicking off 2024 with the return of the Love Your Neighborhood photography competition.

Did you receive a new phone or camera for the holidays? Here’s the perfect opportunity to put your photography skills to the test.

Share a photo that shows neighbors what makes your neighborhood special: a stunning sunrise, adorable pup, beloved business or hidden gem. We want to see the people, places, and pets that make you smile.

It’s easy for U.S. neighbors to enter the Love Your Neighborhood contest:

  • Snap a neighborhood photo.
  • Post your photo on Nextdoor using the hashtag #LoveYourNeighborhoodContest.
  • Submissions will be entered for a chance to win a prize!

The deadline to submit your photo entry is January 30. After the entry period closes, neighbors on Nextdoor will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite finalist’s photo, and the grand prize winner will be announced in February.

Jose Soares, who co-owns the dog training and boarding business Woof Pack in Miami, FL, won the top prize of the 2023 U.S. Love Your Neighborhood contest with this adorable image of 30 perfectly-posed pups at a canine birthday party.

“We’ve been doing group photos for years now. We love working with the pack, and it has always been fun to get them to stay still while they look at the camera. Always a challenge we’re ready for – the owners love it!” Soares told PEOPLE.

Do you have an image you want to share that showcases your community?

Whether it’s a furry friend or a pretty park, grab your phone or camera and start snapping.

Your favorite neighborhood spot could lead you to the finals or make you a grand prize winner!
